Highlighting the unique hotel character
This luxury 5-star boutique hotel is located in the historic center of Poreč on the northern Adriatic. It opened in 2026. The lighting design created a pleasant atmosphere that fits into the designer’s vision of the space. A special luminaire was designed for the hotel staircase; it attracts attention with its style and size, highlighting its unique character. Exterior lighting accentuates the beauty of the architecture and of the location itself.

Challenges
Unique staircase lamp
The central part of the spiral staircase features a massive pendant lamp, built in segments. It is an impressive visual element and an important source of light.
Integrating exterior lighting into the historic center
The subtle lighting of the hotel exterior and the terrace of the hotel’s Jaz by Ana Roš restaurant was carefully adapted to the old city setting. On top of highlighting the beauty of the location, it creates a pleasant and relaxing atmosphere.
Emergency lighting integration
A lighting system that ensures safe movement of guests and personnel in emergency situations was seamlessly blended into space, without compromising the hotel’s design concept.
